About Us
Formed in 2019 by a small group of college professors, Praxis Lab seeks to contribute to a culture of clarity and commitment for underserved, college-aspiring high school students, their families, and their teachers and staff. We offer tailored educational modules, all developed by a staff of former college professors.
We partner with nonprofits and high schools, offering on- and off-campus programming.
Kyyung Kim, PhD is the executive director of Praxis Lab. She has been a university educator for twenty-five years and a practicing martial artist for over a decade. She has taught liberal arts courses in both public and private schools, to college and high school students, and she has designed aikidō classes for diverse groups of adults and young people at all levels of ability and experience.
